How Ronaldo’s ex and current clubs celebrated his 32nd birthday

Ronaldo celebrates 32nd birthday

Cristiano Ronaldo’s previous clubs sent the forward well-wishes on social media on his 32nd birthday.

Manchester United and Sporting C.P resorted to Twitter and Instagram to celebrate their one-time prodigy on his special day. It is evident that the legacy and hallmark the Portuguese forward left at both clubs are still fresh in memory. And even though he left the two sides to realize a childhood dream of being a Madridista, the clubs still regard him fondly.

Below are some of the tweets and posts from Ronaldo’s ex-clubs, ex-coaches, and teammates:

Sporting C.P

CR7 holds ‘the green and whites’ in a sacred sanctuary in his heart, as he debuted in their colors for the first time in his professional career. Obviously, the tweets below confirm the love story between the Portuguese superstar and his boyhood club:

Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo’s 118 goals in 292 appearances for the Red Devils, is one of the major landmarks in his decorated career. The Old Trafford club expressed their gratitude by posting a throwback cameo of the fabulous back-heel goal the iconic number 7 scored. This happened on March 29, 2008 in a Premier League game against Aston Villa. Enjoy!

In addition, the English club offered viewers the opportunity to reminisce his 118-goal tally on MUTV.

Real Madrid

Of course, the four-time Ballon d’Or winner’s birthday would not have been fully acknowledged without a message or wish from his current side. Real Madrid dropped by with a post on their official website, as well as a tweet for the club’s all-time goalscorer. His teammates also followed suit with their messages:

Bichooo hoje é teu dia mané!!! ? Parabéns ??? felicidades Bro! @cristiano
