The Andorra vs Portugal match will kick-off at 18:45 GMT on October 7 at the Estadi Nacional. The Group B fifth-placed side will aim to frustrate their opponents in a bid to redeem their pride in European football after netting just two goals in the competition. Portugal will brace themselves up for a crunch tie with La Nati on October 10 in Lisbon at 18:45GMT. The Selecçao das Quinas are three points adrift the world’s seventh-placed team, Switzerland.
In order to secure automatic qualification to the World Cup finals, the European champions must ensure victory in both encounters. The Swiss side will prove a tough test for the 2004 EURO finalists as they were defeated in their previous meeting.
The Selecçao will face a strong second-placed playoff draw should they fail to progress automatically. Currently, European giants like Italy, Sweden and Wales have all failed to top their respective groups.
The UEFA Best Player will prove a pure inspiration for his side as he leads the top scorer chart with 14 goals in seven matches played.
