It’s official: From the 2019/20 season, Welsh star Aaron Ramsey and Cristiano Ronaldo will be teammates at Juventus.
The 28-year-old will depart Arsenal on June 30 after penning a pre-contract with the Bianconeri on Monday. Ramsey’s basic salary of 400,000 pounds per week will turn him into the most paid footballer from Great Britain.
Speaking of salary, Ronaldo earns 5.30 million dollars before tax per month. This puts him in second position on the highest paid players chart released by L’Equipe last week.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old Serie A topscorer has a history of partnering with Welsh stars. As a youngster, the Portuguese was welcomed to the Theatre of Dreams by Manchester United’s iconic number 11 midfielder, Ryan Giggs, with whom he won numerous trophies.
Later, CR7 was the king of the dressing room at the Santiago Bernabeu when the club signed Welsh wizard Gareth Bale during the 2013/14 season. Ronaldo survived the squad competition and remained Real Madrid’s most valuable player until he turned the Galactico chapter to become a Bianconero.

Aaron Ramsey is a three-time FA Cup champion and two-time FA Community Shield winner at Arsenal. Believed by the media to be underrated during his 11 years as a Gunner, Ramsey’s talent could be fully exhibited at the Allianz Stadium by teaming up with an intelligent and experienced player like Cristiano.
