Ronaldo’s new crystallized boots unveiled [VIDEO]

Cristiano Ronaldo's crystalized boots

Cristiano Ronaldo has had two pairs of crystallized Nike CR7 Mercurial boots made for him to commemorate his time in the English Premier League and La Liga.

Unlike every other CR7 Mercurial boot, these new cleats will not be worn by the Portuguese superstar. Nevertheless, the masterpieces now sit beside the striker’s recent Ballon d’Or award at his museum in Madeira, Portugal.

Both pairs are encrusted with Swarovski diamontes, with one pair having the Premier League emblem and the other having “La Liga” on its side. The boot paying tribute to Ronaldo’s stay in England was made on February 13, whereas May 22, 2017, marks the date Ronaldo had the customized La Liga cleats produced.

All of these boots were designed by a crystal artist known as T. Daniel Tokunbo. His art brand has previously worked with football stars such as Theo Walcott, Daniel Sturridge, Andy Carroll, Song, as well as Didier Drogba.

Among the four mentioned above, only Song and Drogba possess a custom pair of the crystallized boots, with the rest being owners of caps from the franchise. See below for a few more photographs of the Nike CR7 crystallized Mercurial boots displayed on T. Daniel’s Instagram page. And oh, before that, here is Cristiano Ronaldo wearing a customized T. Daniel cap!
