The Real Madrid star points out the key statement his parents motivated him with during his younger years.

Cristiano Ronaldo is in preparation mood with the new season commencing in a few days. As earlier confirmed by manager Zinedine Zidane, the Portuguese icon will join his mates on August 5. That is three days before their all important UEFA Super Cup final clash with Manchester United.

The 32-year-old has been sharing videos of his usual workouts to his over 107 million followers on Instagram. Adored for his professionalism, the forward wants to shape up for the season ahead after a long vacation with his family in Ibiza.

On Thursday, Ronaldo posted a visual of his training with the caption “Smart work” and followed up with a promotional video for American based health partner, Herbalife. The touching video, which runs for 31 seconds only, is set to leave a long lasting impression in the minds of his fans.
