Cristiano has already thumped Messi enough since last season. Aside from winning the major team achievements in the 2016/17 campaign, the Madeira born legend also won the UEFA Best Player of the Year award and the 2017 Supercopa de Espana.

Scooping the crown would see the iconic number 7 defend his title, won in 2016. The 2017 FIFA Football Awards event is scheduled for the London Palladium, England on October 23. As CR7 fans, we wish the boss luck.
